A Sneak Peak at The Ocean House Shoot

In May of 2010 Candice Coppola and Carla Ten Eyck organized a three day photo shoot in the beautiful Watch Hill,Rhode Island resort, Ocean House. In these three days we needed to pull together FIVE different amazing shoots with a variety of vendors. Yes... FIVE different shoots! This shoot was a way to show our creativity and this newly renovated venue. There was so much inspiration I was beside myself! I was mainly inspired by the incredible dress styles from White Dress By The Shore on our model, Mandy. She wore a very classic style with a ruffled front so I decided to create a simple hairstyle with a dramatic feel. This style fit The Ocean House because of it's classic beauty and New England style decor. Everything felt very Rhode Island to me with a pop of color and extravagance. On this shoot, Amy, an amazing makeup artist on my team gave Mandy the perfect look to compliment the rest of her ensemble. Feast your eyes!!! Amy's inspiration was hugely influenced by Mandy's jewelry. Sometimes one simple piece can pull it all together. She was going for more of a monochromatic color scheme on her face with a bold eye being the exception. Take a look and let us know what you think!
